Refund policy

At House of DIY, every kit is thoughtfully curated and carefully packed — not just as a product, but as an experience. Since each piece is custom-assembled, here’s how we handle cancellations and returns:


Cancellations

We accept cancellation requests only on the same day the order is placed.
However, if your order has already been processed by our backend team or moved to the warehouse for dispatch, it cannot be cancelled, even on the same day.

To request a cancellation, please email us at contact@thehouse.diy before midnight of your order date, with your order number.

Some items in our store may be offered to you as a subscription, a pre-order, or try-before-you-buy. This cancellation policy lays out how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases. 

Pre-orders
When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory. We may collect full payment or a partial deposit at checkout, store your payment method, then fulfill and charge the full or remaining payment at a future date.
You can cancel a partially/fully paid pre-order that has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, you can't cancel it. 


Returns & Refunds

Each kit goes through a thorough quality check, and we hand over your box with complete trust and care. As a policy, we do not offer returns or refunds.

However, if you still face any issues, please reach out within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and details at contact@thehouse.diy. We’re happy to review concerns on a case-by-case basis and will do our best to help wherever possible.
